Grief Chat: Losing a Child

“As a bereaved parent you represent the worst nightmare there is for people”

In these informal Grief Chats, we bring together two people who have been bereaved in a similar way, to discuss their personal experiences of grief.

This Chat is about what it feels like when your child dies. Our guests are bereaved parents, Jane Harris and Gill Mann.

Jane is a therapist and filmmaker. Jane’s son, Josh, died at the age of 22 in a road accident while travelling in Vietnam in 2011. Jane and her partner, Jimmy Edmonds, went on to create a film about what came afterwards, called A Love That Never Dies.

Gill is a therapist and author. Gill’s 22-year-old son, Sam, died in Thailand in 2014. Gill has since released the book, A Song Inside, her heartbreaking and uplifting memoir of love and loss.

Your host is Mark Lemon, the writer and podcaster behind the five-star rated podcast series, Grief is my Superpower.
