London Community Gospel Choir

From humble beginnings in 1982 London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) have gone on to become Europe’s leading Gospel brand and one of the most in-demand choirs across the world, creating a wall of soulful sound that is both memorable and inspirational.

They are dubbed by the British press as ‘the nation’s favourite choir’. LCGC are the first port of call to support not just your high-end entertainment gatherings, but are very involved on the front line in support of charities and global humanitarian causes such as Red Nose Day, Remembrance Day, Cancer Research, Live 8, Amnesty International, Children in Need, World Aids Day and now Marie Curie’s National Day of Reflection.

LCGC continue to break boundaries, share hope and display true versatility. They are an eclectic mix of united nations and ages. Diverse cultural backgrounds uniquely blend together, making this choir a truly special blend of talent, voices and personalities.

LCGC regularly grace many of the UK’s greatest events such as the International FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, Glastonbury Festival, Live 8 and the World Aids Festival. They are also regulars at the Royal Albert Hall.

London Community Gospel Choir’s founder, Bazil Meade MBE, said the vision continues to be a blending together of two passions: music and faith. It’s this unique combination expressed through their songs that touches the hearts of hundreds of thousands of people wherever they travel.
