Long Litt Woon (born in 1958 in Malaysia) is an anthropologist and Norwegian Mycological Association certified mushroom expert based in Oslo. She first visited Norway as a young exchange student, which was where she met and married her Norwegian husband, Eiolf Olsen.
Litt Woon is author of The Way Through the Woods (2019). It shares the story of how she, as a widow mourning the sudden loss of her Eiolf, discovered an unusual form of healing in mushroom hunting – something the couple had always planned to do together. The book became the most translated non-fiction book in Norway in 2018.
