Shaun Hill

Shaun Hill is a queer poet exploring post-capitalist ways of being. Blurring boundaries between critical theory, performance and prayer, Shaun has shared his intimate and urgent work widely, at festivals like Freedom of Mind, Shambala, WOMAD, and UK Young Artists.

Shaun is a 2021 Pushcart Prize nominee. He was recently one of five UK writers to be selected for the Apples and Snakes and Jerwood Arts’ Poetry in Performance Programme.

He has completed commissions for Verve Poetry Festival, Overhear App and the Medicine Bakery Gallery. He has also appeared on BBC Radio 4. Shaun’s debut collection, warm blooded things, will be published by Nine Arches Press in September 2021.
