Psychological Models of Grief

There are many different types of people experiencing many different types of grief, and there is certainly no right or wrong way to do it. Yet some grieving behaviours can be broadly brought together to make identifiable models of grief. In this one-hour webinar, Dr Erin Hope Thompson, founder and director of The Loss Foundation, will talk through some different psychological models of grief.

Erin will cover topics like what grief encompasses and how people can experience it, alongside some of the different ways in which we can visualise loss using psychological models of grief. She’ll also use some case studies to amplify the use of psychological models when supporting people who are grieving and will consider the evidence base for supporting people who are grieving.
