Adela Straughan
Adela Straughan works at Arnos Vale Cemetery, one of Bristol’s hidden treasures. She works closely with the estates, public engagement, fundraising and cemetery services teams and looks after the commercial activity on site.
Adela has volunteered as a guest lecturer with the UWE Events and Entrepreneurship undergraduates, and is a facilitator for Bristol Death Café. She is currently a Trustee of Cleveland Pools in Bath.
Outside of the day job, Adela is a keen walker; in 2018 she adopted a dog from Greece and now enjoys many adventures across the UK.
