Grief School with Julia Samuel

In this Grief School session, psychotherapist and author Julia Samuel shares some of her favourite tools and practices for coping with grief.

The session was facilitated by Dr Lucy Selman, Senior Research Fellow at the University of Bristol and founder of Good Grief Festival.

Julia speaks about bereavement in a very down-to-earth, relatable way. Her helpful tips on how to effectively cope with grief have been honed over a career’s worth of first-hand experience in the field. Julia is a paediatric counsellor and psychotherapist who received her MBE in 2015 for her services to bereaved children. She’s also Founder Patron of Child Bereavement UK and is a Vice President of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Julia has authored two bestselling books, Grief Works and This Too Shall Pass.
