Join grief expert Julia Samuel MBE and writer Michael Rosen as they discuss and explore important themes such as love, loss, grief, creativity and the connections between them all.
Children’s novelist and poet Michael Rosen is a prolific writer and former Children’s Poet Laureate. He’s been a TV presenter and political columnist and can be found on YouTube on his popular channel, ‘Kids’ Poems and Stories with Michael Rosen’. Last year, Michael contracted coronavirus and spent seven weeks in intensive care at Whittington Hospital, six of them on a ventilator. Michael has written about this experience in Many Different Kinds of Love: A story of life, death, and the NHS, which will be published in March 2021.
Julia featured in several of our earlier Good Grief events and drew huge praise for her honest and empathetic approach. A counsellor and psychotherapist, Julia was awarded an MBE for her services to bereaved children in 2015. Julia is also Founder Patron of Child Bereavement UK and has authored several books including the bestselling Grief Works and This Too Shall Pass.
